I thoroughly enjoyed working with this company my first order arrived and I was really amazed at how well put together the order and selection of products were. Love The Branding and packaging but even more so the people and support through answering questions and offering substitute products of higher value and quality for the same price when what I ordered wasn't available. I'll definitely be using them again for future orders.
Great customer service and high quality rope, thanks.
The rope is nice , might buy longer ones for next time.
no weaknesses or issues along the rope, seams treated nicely also.

They're worth it
Shibari Study Jute Rope Kit
I recieved the kit fairly quick, even though it was shipped from London to Denmark.
The ropes are SO nice and the best I have come across so far.
There are plenty ropes in the kit to have some nice and playfull moments.
Im also a paying “student” on shibaristudy.com and can highly recommend it, if you are into some serious learning and want to study your rope skills on a high level.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I got my ropes and they are great. The only reason for the 3 stars was the shipping error. The shop rectified the situation right away. Thank you
The best rope I've tried so far!
Nicely prepared rope, exactly as described.
Very good quality rope. Thanks Anatomie :))
Why would someone want to use scratchy Jute rope?? I was always told to use soft cording like that white cording at Home Depot..
Hello :) Thank you for asking!
Jute (and also hemp) is the material traditionally used for Japanese Rope Bondage, also referred to as Shibari or Kinbaku. Other types of rope are perfectly valid for bondage play in general, but we ourselves mainly specialise in rope for shibari/kinbaku.
You can think of jute as a good pair of jeans of leather shoes - they may be a bit hard in the beginning but over time and with proper care break in beautifully. With use, jute becomes silky and fluid to handle, its strength and lack of elasticity make it perfect for tying in this style.
It does help to be passionate about this style of tying!
If you ropes that are softer from the beginning, you can choose to tie with cotton - our most recent article covers the differences between jute and cotton to help you choose:

We also have various blog posts on how to break in jute and how to maintain it if you're interested.
